Digimon Adventure REBOOT Episode 41 "Mon-Mon Park in the Fog" Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
Episode 41— “Mon-Mon Park in the Fog”—was another filler, but it was a great story. I enjoyed the exploration of TK and Matt’s brotherhood, and how that lead to Patamon regaining his power to become Angemon again. The dynamic between TK and Matt is incredible—a great reminder on why I do see a lot of myself in Matt.
Blog Update #7. Written by Aaron Ngo.
First off, thank you for taking the time to read whatever I publish on this blog. It’s truly appreciated. However, I will be taking a huge step back from this Blog to dedicate that time to focus on my YouTube Channel and a writing opportunity I have accepted.
Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 1 Review.
Falcon and The Winter Soldier finally dropped on Disney+ on March 19, 2021. I have been waiting for this series forever, but the wait was absolutely worth it. This episode had a couple issues, but what show doesn’t?
Digimon Adventure REBOOT Episode 40 "Strike! The Killer Shot" Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
Episode 40—“Strike! The Killer Shot”—readdressed Sora’s love for soccer in addition to her motherly nature. The episode may have also hinted at the Tai-Sora romance as well, but that could just be me projecting my feelings about it from the original series. There were many funny character interactions from Matt, Izzy, Joe, and Mimi as well. Kari and TK were playing the whole time, which was super cute.
Digimon Adventure REBOOT Episode 39 "Jyagamon, Potato Hell" Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
Another filler episode that I enjoyed so much. Joe Kido received unexpected character development that made me love his character even more. The eight DigiDestined are finally together, and they are traveling to a rest area. They are lucky the rest area has a restaurant that offers free burgers to all travelers. We also meet a new Digimon called Burgamon.
This Is Us Season 5 Episode 9 "The Ride" Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
Last episode we saw a bunch of babies (the new “Big Three”) brought into the world. This newest episode we saw them all get taken home on “The Ride” in both past, present, and future. There are multiple storylines about driving newborn babies home.
Digimon Adventure REBOOT Episode 38 "The Blazing Blue Friendship" Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
I didn’t enjoy the “Matt-centric” episode compared to last week’s. The animation was wonky, there was picture play-by-play, and the Matt development wasn’t as strong. It wasn’t even visually appeasing to watch. There was also no “MetalGarurumon” either. WHY DOES NOBODY GET MEGA AND TAI GETS TWO? I don’t understand.
Digimon Adventure REBOOT Episode 37 "Mimi-chan Wars" Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
Episode 37—“Mimi-chan Wars”—gave Mimi the much deserved spotlight. While she didn’t get a Rosemon Mega Digivolution, Mimi did get sweet character development, awesome moments of bossing Tai around, and a brand new Lilymon digivolution.
The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 6 Anime Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
Episode 6 started off with the rushed reveal of Norman being alive and reuniting with Emma and Ray. While I found this reunion ultimately inappropriate, I was crying like a joyous baby at 2am in the morning.
This Is Us Season 5 Episode 8 "In The Room" Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
Wow. I cried so much watching this episode. I hadn’t cried on that level since season 1. The tears would not stop rolling for all the joy happening. I wasn’t expecting so much joy. The characters honestly deserved this episode of epic joy. The love story of Nasir and Esther Ahmed was also a great one to explore in addition to giving us knowledge of the one who gave us the technology needed to survive this ongoing pandemic. It’s honestly beautiful. The entire episode gets 10/10 for me.
This Is Us Season 5 Episode 7 “There” Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
This Is Us is back… for the third time since season 5 premiered. The show needs to stop taking so many breaks. Anyway, I got around to watching the latest episode, “There”. I had a great time with Kevin navigating what’s most important to him, and how being there for his kids is more important than his career. After five seasons, Kevin figured it out - “What would Jack Pearson do?”
Digimon Adventure REBOOT Episode 36 "Operation Satellite Sniper" Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
Episode 36—“Operation Satellite Sniper”—was potentially a great Izzy-centric episode idea, but the forced Tai-Agumon love kind-of ruined the overall episode. The “threat to Japan” was finally addressed head-on after episodes of teasing by Izzy, but the episode didn’t give Tentomon his Mega form.
Fate/Zero Volume 2 Manga Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
Summary: In Fuyuki City, seven Masters have summoned beings called Servants, heroic spirits of historic figures, summoned to the present day to fight to the death in order to obtain the Holy Grail, the ultimate prize. Kiritsugu Emiya, the main protagonist, has summoned Saber to fight for him, but she feels uneasy regarding their relationship and accompanies Irisviel, his wife, to Fuyuki.

Digimon Adventure REBOOT Episode 35 "The Glowing Angewomon" Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
Episode 35—“The Glowing Angewomon”—had great character development for Kari and Gatomon. While the action sequences are consistently amazing with the fan-service, like the underwater battles reminded me of battling underwater in Digimon World 3, the plot needs some work to keep things flowing more smoothly.
The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 5 Anime Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt, The Promised Neverland, but you crossed the line with your rushed pacing and rushed [SPOILER] reveal.
One Piece: East Blue Saga: “Loguetown Arc” (Chapters 96 through 100) Manga Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
On November 2, 2020, I started and finished One Piece’s “Loguetown Arc”—the final canon story arc in the East Blue Saga. The first six days out at fictional sea reading One Piece’s first 100 chapters had been an amazing journey to get on the journey toward Grand Line.
One Piece: East Blue Saga: “Arlong Park Arc” (Chapters 69 through 95) Manga Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
On November 1, 2020, I started One Piece’s “Arlong Park Arc”—the fifth story arc in the East Blue Saga—and finished on November 2, 2020. In the aftermath of the “Baratie Arc”—after Nami steals the Going Merry pirate ship from Luffy and the crew—Roronoa Zoro and Usopp give chase, with Luffy, Sanji, Johnny, and Yosaku following as well after they resolved the previous arc’s storyline.
One Piece: East Blue Saga: “Baratie Arc” (Chapters 42 through 68) Manga Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
On October 30, 2020, I started reading One Piece’s “Baratie Arc”—the fourth story arc in the Blue East Saga—and finished on November 1, 2020. This arc had everything with plot, setting, characters, tragic backgrounds, great comedic moments, and awesome fight scenes.
One Piece: East Blue Saga: “Syrup Village Arc” (Chapters 22 through 41) Manga Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
On October 29, 2020, I started reading One Piece’s “Syrup Village Arc”—the third story arc in the East Blue Saga—and finished on October 30, 2020. For those who don’t know, this is my first time experiencing Big Daddy One Piece, and it has been a wild first experience so far.
One Piece: East Blue Saga: “Orange Town Arc” (Chapters 8 through 21) Manga Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
On October 28, 2020, I started and finished One Piece’s “Orange Town” Arc. After reading the first two story arcs in one day, I decided to keep it reading to catch up with whatever the latest chapter will be in addition to watching only the anime’s exclusive filler arcs—of course, in chronological order—for that “extra content”.
One Piece: East Blue Saga: “Romance Dawn Arc” (Chapters 1 through 7) Manga Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
On October 28, 2020, I started and finished One Piece’s “Romance Dawn Arc”—the first story arc of this massive ongoing manga. After catching up with the Tower of God Webtoon—all 485 episodes—as a “warm-up” to this series, I found myself quite excited to read this manga—having never read it or watched the anime during my childhood.
Digimon Adventure REBOOT Episode 34 "Hikari and Tailmon" Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
Episode 34—“Hikari and Tailmon”—was structured similar to TK and Patamon’s centric episode from two weeks ago, which I enjoyed so much as it allowed both character and plot to develop organically. The relationship between Kari and Gatomon was definitely explored very similarly to TK and Patamon’s relationship, but there was more emotion involved with Kari and Gatomon’s since they’re still getting to know each other. Kari’s a great character still, and her loving nature shined bright.
The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 4 Anime Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
Synopsis: By the end of season one, Emma, Ray, and their 13 siblings escape Grace Field House, a false paradise, hoping for a chance at freedom. Instead, they encounter plants and animals they have never seen before, and are chased by demons. The outside world is so beautiful, but also cruel. However, Emma and the others refuse to give up. They are guided in their search for better lives by a message from Minerva and a pen Norman left behind in order to fulfill their promise to return to the Grace Field House to save those of their family—like Phil—who are still trapped within. Do they have what it takes to claim their happy endings?

unOrdinary "Tyrants Arc" (Episodes 200 through 212) Webtoon Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
From October 1, 2020 to January 7, 2021, the “Tyrants Arc” of the Webtoon unOrdinary—written and drawn by uru-chan—rampaged like a magnificent wildfire dancing through the halls of Wellston Private High School. The events of this arc were a long time coming. Now without further ado, let’s dive into my thoughts on unOrdinary’s “Tyrants Arc”.
Digimon Adventure REBOOT Episode 33 "The Hikari of Dawn" Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
Episode 33—“The Hikari of Dawn”—gave me video-game vibes similar to episode 20 of the reboot series. In other words, it’s action-driven, but with more exposition about the villains’ main goal. The followers of Millenniumon want to resurrect him using Hikari as the sacrifice. The reason Hikari willingly followed DarkKnightmon is also answered, but I’ll get around to that in the end. Let’s start with how amazing the video game boss fight was, and how it was a better version than the one against Velgamon from episode 20.

Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Chapter 6: “The Time of Judgment” (episodes 22 through 26) Webnovel Review. Written by Aaron Ngo.
On November 24, 2020 to December 22, 2020, I read Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint chapter 6 parts 1 through 5. Chapter 6 followed the aftermath of Dokja defeating The Warden of the Dark and completing the sub scenario.
I’m writing this post to let you all know that I will be temporarily stop the blog reviews. I have found my time is too split between daily life, work, a writing opportunity I need to get back on, my YouTube Channel, Dungeons and Dragons, and playing card games—to help the YouTube Channel grow. I am also trying to find my reading and writing habits and get them back to 2020 consistency.
