Grey's Anatomy 16x03 "Reunited" Episode Review
Major Spoilers are included in this episode review. Please read with caution.
Charmed reunion episode with Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano was amazing. In this episode, they play sisters on the show, Heidi and Haylee, who’s sister Heather ends up on life support. Look, all their names start with the same letter. That’s so CHARMED. Richard Webber is their doctor at Pac-North, and he has to mediate between them so they can decide what to do with Heather and life-support. Their whole storyline is Charmed minus the magic. In the end, the sisters make-up and wish to take Heather off life-support so she can move to the light. Then, everyone learns this wasn’t Heather, but a random person who stole her wallet. This was made to make us laugh, but wow, Pac-North is not going smoothly at all.
Quadri officially exited this episode. Chief Bailey fired her for being too much in love with Meredith Grey. Her behavior was annoying and not acceptable. Jo and Bailey were not having it, especially the latter. It was an interesting way to get rid of a character to say the least… but somebody had to gone I suppose… there are too many characters on Grey’s Anatomy, sometimes.
Jo Karev as an Attending General Surgeon was perfect. She truly learned from the best, and even Meredith Grey was proud of her student. Yes, things are looking up for Jo!
Richard Webber… do not cheat on your wife. The show is setting him up to be a cheater, again… because he and Catherine are fighting over the whole “You Got Me Fired” thing. Webber, don’t do it. Alex Karev is having a blast as Chief of Surgery at this Pac-North… this place has too many problems.
Amelia and Link are expecting a baby, and after a touching case with “Bird”, they tell Meredith and DeLuca during hangout. Meredith is super excited to be “Auntie Mer”. Amelia is finally accepting happiness as an option. That’s super good progress.
Maggie and Vic (Station 19) are officially awkward. Wow. Jackson and Vic are definitely better than him and Maggie, but I still don’t know I feel about the romance… Jackson’s character and Maggie’s need to figure things out.
Owen and Teddy agreeing to switch (Owen is the stay-at-home while Teddy works) is a great idea. I’d rather see Teddy doing surgeries than Owen and Koracick play hide-and-seek any day of the week.
Overall, this episode was pretty top-notch. I’m excited to see what happens next week with Teddy back at work and the whole “Richard Webber might cheat” storyline…
