Station 19 2x10 "Crazy Train" Episode Review
Major Spoilers are included in this episode review. Please read with caution.
This episode had Maya and Jack front and center inside a subway train. The two of them are forced to contain the passengers because there was a contagious disease and all of them were infected.
Yeah, this is a Grey’s Anatomy spin-off, so things like this happen a lot.
Now, over the course of this season, I’ve noticed Jack has been distant from Andy and has been growing closer to Maya.
The sexual tension between the two of them was getting steamy for the past few episodes, and in the closing moments, the two of them finally hooked-up in the shower. I’m pretty sure Maya had a rule on being with her friend’s ex, but guess that only applies when Andy does it.
Andy and Vic are helping a new recruit examining Station 19, the setting. They also discover she was inside the burning skyscraper from the season 1 finale. I love how relevant that event was to everyone, and how it continues to push character development / plot. This was a fun subplot to watch.
The boys (Travis, Ben, Dean, and Robert) are painting walls and decide to dance because Robert is trying to bond with them. Robert Sullivan, the police captain. In previous episode reviews, I referred to the guy as Sullivan, but after seeing him get along with everyone, he is now Robert.
Ryan and Pruitt are also present in the episode. They are looking up the people trying to buy Pruitt’s home, Andy’s childhood house…
Overall, I’m happy on the Maya-Jack front, and all the drama getting to her to step up as a leader. She’s going after what she wants, and apparently she wants Jack, which will cause problems when Andy finds out about this. Next week… please hurry!
