Grey's Anatomy 15x08 "Blowin' In The Wind" Episode Review
Major Spoilers are included in this episode review. Please Read With Caution.
A major windstorm is coming through Seattle and so are all of the secrets: Teddy’s secret pregnancy, Catherine’s tumor, Richard’s attack on the bar, Meredith’s interest in finding love, Glasses’ coming out and interest in Niko, and DeLuca’s attraction for Meredith Grey. I think all of these are good developments except Teddy Altman.
Her revelation about carrying Owen’s baby should’ve happened a few episodes ago. Ideally in the episode when Betty went missing. It was the perfect opportunity to reveal the pregnancy and for Owen to have the whole truth about his best friend’s return. Although having Teddy tell Owen in front of Jackson and the scrub nurses was a priceless scene.
Maggie complained to Meredith about Jackson in almost every scene she got. Jackson claimed she never opens up, but I guess he doesn’t do that many surgeries with her. That cold remark was a such a good comeback. Meredith is annoyed by her sister’s rants and ends up telling Maggie about Catherine’s tumor to help her comfort Jackson.
Glasses stands up for himself and makes Nico look like a complete ass. He is not ashamed of how he feels about Nico and the way the kiss felt. This leads to the two of them making out while they are trapped in the ambulance. I ship these two so much. They work really well.
Alex Karev and Jo Karev are stuck at home reenacting their honeymoon. We got an Izzie mention, which made me miss her and the baking. Izzie did bake a lot. But Alex and Jo are really happy with each other. Yay for true love.
Andrew DeLuca declares his interest in Meredith Grey, who has finally decided to give Link a chance. Both were inspired by Cece’s words, the matchmaker from the season premiere. The doctors finally found organs for her, but the chances of her survival are not great. The end of the episode has Amelia, Owen, and Teddy stuck in an elevator… Bailey and the organ harvest are stuck in an elevator… Meredith and DeLuca are stuck where?
IN AN ELEVATOR. ALL DIFFERENT ELEVATORS FILLED WITH DIFFERENT TENSIONS. AHHH!
