I’m so invested in this season. The crossover between Murder House and Coven is heating things up between Michael Langdon and the Coven Witches.

The episode picks up immediately after we left off with the resurrection of Mallory, Coco, and Dinah. However, before the all-out war could commence between Michael and Cordelia the Supreme, we are thrown back to Michael’s backstory, which surprisingly ties into the mythology of the Coven season by adding Warlocks into the mix.

Young Michael was taken in by these Warlocks to the future Outpost 3 (a former school for warlocks - male witches), who quickly discover he may be the most powerful of them all. They are unaware of his messed up origins regarding his parents (one ghost and one human hybrid) and assume he will lead them toward salvation (taking over the Coven).

However, Young Michael has plans of his own. To prove himself, he rescues Queenie from the Hotel Cortez (from the Hotel season). My apologies, I did not watch that season so I was in for a shock to learn she died and was brought back by Michael.

Then he retrieved Madison (Emma Roberts) from her personal hell too. Queenie was against it, but I was all for it. I can understand the motive behind Queenie’s resurrection, but Madison is clearly something of his own design. I think he got her because he wants to use her for something evil.

The episode ends when Michael brings the former Coven witches in front of Cordelia, Myrtle, and Zoe - oh yeah she’s back too! I’m so looking forward to seeing how that will work out and what events brought them to the present.

Why did Madison switch sides? Where is Zoe and Queenie? How did the world really end?
