How To Get Away With Murder 6x05 "We're All Gonna Die" Episode Review
Major Spoilers are included in this episode review. Please read with caution.
Frank is nearly killed in this episode. We are shown flashbacks to reveal context on what exactly happened to Frank after his run-in with Xavier Castillo. He appears to be getting over Laurel though, and falling back in love with Bonnie. I honestly don’t care who Frank ends up with, but Bonnie needs to figure out how to be happy before the show ends. I’m Team Bonnie for finding your own happiness.
Connor and Oliver are reeling from their three-way with super hot guy. Then, they get into argument about Frank and their initial mistrust. Oliver’s been playing around too much with the dark side, and didn’t tell Connor about Frank finding Laurel. Oliver isn’t able to trust Connor without thinking he’d run to Annalise with this information. How does this even happen?
Michaela has her moment in this episode, getting answers on why Solomon abandoned her and what he owes her moving forward. Also, Solomon and Annalise are in cahoots… this will not end well for anybody involved. Sorry, Michaela.
Tegan finally divorced with ex-wife Cora, and gave us the most devastating scene with her crying on the floor after Cora entered the elevator. I think this storyline connects to the Castillo’s somehow. There’s so much going on, sometimes.
Speaking of so much going on, Asher’s sister, Chloe comes to visit to tell him about their mother becoming suicidal and isolated without her husband or son around. I forgot the show did explore his family at one point. I also liked that his mother was the parent who covered for Asher for his role in the gang rape and not his father.
The flash forward to the bloody apartment and Tegan is giving us another piece of the puzzle. Who’s dead upstairs? It might be Annalise, but that seems too obvious.
